Rugby World Cup quarter-finals match-ups have been determined, with the Black Ferns to face Wales at Whangārei on Saturday, October 29.
Final pool results saw a 29-14 victory for Canada over United States and a 75-0 thrashing of South Africa by England finalised seedings for the knockout round.
After three bonus-point victories, New Zealand have finished as the top-seeded team, ending the first round with 15 points and a differential of +125. That sets up a quarter-final against Wales - who finished as the eighth-seeded team, third in Pool A.
The Black Ferns and Wales have already met at this World Cup, with the NZ women taking a 56-12 victory at Waitakere.
Canada's victory sees them finish as the second-seeded team by winning Pool B, but they will face a repeat fixture against USA in their quarter-final, played on Sunday, October 30.
In third place, England will face Australia on October 30 at Waitakere, as the third and sixth-seeded teams respectively.
Unbeaten, like the Black Ferns and Canada, England's narrow 13-7 victory over France ultimately cost them a bonus point and one of the top two spots.
Fourth seeds France will face Italy on October 29 in the first quarter-finals, scheduled for Whangārei before New Zealand's clash with Wales.
The winners will then square off in semi-finals, both held at Eden Park on November 5.
Should the Black Ferns defeat Wales, they would face the winners of France and Italy in their semi-final.
