Pint-sized Canadian veteran Elissa Alarie seems an unlikely star at the Rugby World Cup - her third.
At 36 and just 64kg, Alarie was a member of the team that contested the 2014 World Cup final against England and has also represented her nation at two Olympics in sevens.
"I come from a bit of an athletic background, but mainly sports for fun," she said. "Our high school was offering the sport and I was part of group that just tried every sport.
"I played basketball, flag football, tennis... somebody mentioned rugby and I had honestly not heard the word before. I gave it a go and loved it from the first game."
That 2014 final remains the highlight of her career and she hopes to repeat that achievement, when they take on world No.1 England in this year's semi at Eden Park.
"It was the first time a Canadian team - male or female - had made it to a World Cup final, so that was huge for us," said Alarie. "Winning that semi-final in front of a French crowd against the French team was kind of surreal."
