Kia ora, good morning and welcome to Newshub's live coverage of the Rugby World Cup pool clash between Ireland and Scotland at Stade de France, Saint-Denis.
Now that Pool A has been decided, with France and New Zealand progressing to the quarter-finals, all attention now transfers to Pool B, where South Africa, Ireland and Scotland are still jostling for the two knockout spots.
Most would assume world No.1 Ireland and defending champions South Africa will advance, but the Scots have quietly risen to fifth on world rankings and pose a very real threat to the status quo.
The Springboks have completed their pool schedule and have all but punched their ticket to the next stage. They lie one point ahead of the Irish, who only need a bonus point to top the pool.
If Scotland win and deprive Ireland a bonus point, they will steal the quarter-final berth from under their noses.
If Scotland win by 21 points or more, and Ireland grab two bonus points, the world champions are gone.
Ireland hold a 69-66 head-to-head edge in previous meetings and have won the last eight encounters, including 22-7 in this year's Six Nations championship.
Victory would lock them into a quarter-final blockbuster against the All Blacks - and Ireland have never reached the semis at a World Cup.
Join us at 8am Sunday for kickoff.
