Pool B is still wide open, with Scotland capable of upsetting the Irish in a threeway scramble for the two quarter-final spots.
Of course, the outcome of this group is of huge significance to the All Blacks, who will crossover against these teams in the knockout stage.
South Africa and Tonga have met twice before, with the 'Boks winning on both occasions, but only 30-25 in 2007 World Cup poolplay. South Africa went on to win that tournament.
