Ice cream brand Magnum is set to release its first ever vegan ice cream.
The product was released in the UK and Europe in September, and has been popular with vegans there.
Magnum Dairy Free uses plant-based ingredients and has been certified by the Vegan Association.
Its cocoa beans are from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms, while the ice cream is made with pea protein, a plant-based alternative to dairy.
The range will be launched in New Zealand in its two signature flavours, Classic and Almond.
When the range was launched in the UK, there was delight from vegans on Twitter.
"Vegan Magnum ice creams launched today...what a time to be alive," one wrote.
"A vegan magnum, now I am genuinely impressed," said another.
Magnum Dairy Free will be available in New Zealand in February.
