A child has been critically injured in a quad bike crash in Warkworth, north of Auckland.
Police were called to a Warkworth medical centre just after 5pm on Wednesday, after two people arrived with injuries.

One of them was airlifted to Starship Hospital with critical injuries, while the other sustained moderate injuries.
The Police Serious Crash Unit is examining the scene of the crash on Old Kaipara Rd.
The incident comes days after a safety group Agricultural Leaders' Health and Safety Group called on farmers to add safety features to quad bikes.
"Unlike tractors with safety frames or utes with seatbelts and things, quad bikes have no real safety features built into them," said general manager Tony Watson
According to WorkSafe, there were 48 serious accidents in 2018, and six already this year.
In the past decade, there have been 51 fatalities on quad bikes - one this year. The deadliest year was 2015, with nine deaths.
