The Jurassic Park star uses his Twitter account to share photos of his animals, and recently posted photos of him and his pet pig doing yoga.
However that animal video has since been eclipsed by a post about his elderly horse and a sheep who are best mates.
A video shows the unlikely pair walking together with the caption: "This is what FRIENDSHIP looks like. Today. Front paddock."
Neill also explains that when it rains, the old ram stands under his friend the horse to stay dry.
