With bleak Spring weather across much of the country, many farmers are bringing orphaned or sick lambs inside to keep warm and dry.
Photos shared on a farming Facebook page, NZ Farming, show most have managed to nab the cosiest spot in the house.
"Ricky the Lamb loved the fire and sleeping on the couch. He's out in the paddock now. Poor lamb thinks he's a dog."
"Mine spent his first week coming to work in his box, no fireplace but plenty of cuddles!"
"We finished lambing a few weeks ago, yeeha, but here's a pic of two of three of this year's orphans."
"We have them inside as well. Drying out after a bath. Lol."
"With the Huntaway."
