Despite a nationwide drop in farm sales, the Waikato rural market remains consistent, says a local real estate expert.
"Our sales activity is pretty much consistent with the previous year," said Bayleys Waikato general manager Mark Dawe.
"That is positive for us, as it says we have had an increase in market share....albeit we are aware that external market conditions are tougher than they have been in the past couple of seasons," said Dawe.
