Farmers planning for spring are being encouraged to lock in an early order of maize as part of their preparation.
Pioneer Brand Products regional manager, Craig Maxwell told Rural Exchange the company's early ordering programme had been running for around five years, and was about to kick off again.
Maxwell said while it meant the product would be ready to go when needed, it also helped farmers in their planning for the next season.
