Organisers of the New Zealand Agricultural Show had to make the tough call earlier this month to cancel the popular community event.
It marks the first time since World War Two the show will not go ahead.
New Zealand Agricultural Show president Chris Herbert joined Magic Talk's Rural Exchange to talk about the cancellation and the "absolute generosity" shown to the association by the community.
