A year 11 student from Kapiti School has made headlines around the world for his YouTube video of him reciting his school speech, titled 'The importance of correctly pronouncing Māori words'.
Finnian Galbraith's video has been viewed more than 100,000 times in the last two days.
The teenager says he wrote it for a speech competition in 2014 "because I see this as a big issue and I believe it is very important that we take action".
This morning, Finnian joined Paul Henry from Wellington to discuss the sudden media attention he has received, including the BBC requesting an interview.
