A slice of New Zealand paradise went up for sale in Hahei early this year, when the area's popular campsite was put on the market.
There was local concern it would sell to an overseas investor to be subdivided and built on, but it was in fact bought by a Kiwi investor who has big plans keep the campsite in place and make it better than ever.
The new owner Vaughan Magnusson spoke to Paul Henry about 'glamping' – glamorous camping - as the potential future for the Haihei campground.
