No longer will big-game hunters be able to fly their bounty of rhino hide or lion head back to the United States, as some of the top airlines in the world have banned transport of the wildlife.
Delta, United and American Airlines have all banned the shipment of big-game trophies, specifically lion, rhinoceros, leopard, elephant or buffalo remains, following the furore surrounding the slaying of Cecil the lion.
US correspondent Patrice Howard this morning joined Paul Henry to discuss how the decision is being welcomed by animal lovers.
