The fatal police shooting of 21-year-old David Cerven in Auckland is now the subject of three separate investigations.
Police are still to confirm whether Cerven was indeed carrying a gun.
It happened after he threatened to draw a weapon on officers, but the incident comes just days after police announced all frontline staff will be armed with Tasers.
