Bryce Hooton is one of the country's top beekeepers. He's also completely blind.
There are 12,000 blind people in NZ but only six percent are totally blind like Mr Hooton.
But that has not stopped him.
Mr Hooton and his business partner run 2000 hives producing up to 300 tonnes of honey each year, and he is now moving into the business of breeding.
