Massey University's Dr Kate Blackwood has finished an in-depth study of workplace bullying in hospitals.
She found that there is a saying that 'nurses eat their young' which highlights the hierarchical structure of nursing.
Dr Blackwood joined Paul Henry to talk about her findings.
