Smashing tables and theatrical fights in the ring; the kind of wrestling which launched the careers of Hulk Hogan and The Rock -- entertainment wrestling.
It happens in New Zealand too, and there's something quite unusual and unbelievable about one of the competitors.
Kartik Swarmi wrestles at a local entertainment wrestling club - and when he comes out of the curtains, its pure adrenaline.
But the problem is the adrenaline could also kill him.
At the age of 11 doctors diagnosed him with a heart condition called mosaic mutation, which means if his heart beats too fast or slow outside a certain range, he blacks out and blood stops flowing to his brain.
He wasn't supposed to live past the age of 13 -- but now he's 21.
Story went to meet the wrestler to find out why he's so keen on the sport, and to find out more about the charity aspect that draws him in.
