Joe McClure was only five when he started making pickles.
His family were the guardians of a top-secret recipe handed down for generations. Legend has it their dad married their mum to get his hands on the recipe.
However, legend also has it that he still doesn't have it.
Mr McClure and his brother know the secret, and they've built a family business from it - McClure's Pickles.
He's in New Zealand from America and joined Paul Henry this morning.
