Makaia Carr has a career in management and a following as a health and fitness blogger. She's also happily married and a mum of two.
So naturally it came as a huge surprise when a stranger told her they'd been dating for the last seven years.
She'd been catfished. Someone had stolen her identity, her photos, posts, and basically her life.
They used all of that information to seduce an American guy, who eventually figured it out and dobbed her in.
So how it all come to light? Ms Carr talks to Duncan Garner.
