Auckland Council is discussing plans for a new waterfront stadium with the Government, NZME reports, which could cost between $1.1b and $1.5b.
It could hold 25,000 spectators for Super Rugby and NRL matches. For All Blacks and international tests, or big concerts, it could be configured to fit up to 55,000 and 65,000 fans respectively.
