Dozens of infringements and hundreds of warning letters have been sent to farmers who still aren't complying with rules around cattle movements as the Ministry for Primary Industries works to eradicate mycoplasma bovis.
Under tougher penalties, farmers could face fines of up to 20-thousand dollars.
And as the Department of Conservation closes a number of popular walking tracks in an effort to combat kauri dieback, Emma Jolliff asks Biosecurity Minister Damien O'Connor if enough has been done to contain the disease.
