NZTA says the Auckland Harbour Bridge can no longer be strengthened and traffic could be restricted.
The agency says while the bridge has been strengthened several times in the past, it is not possible to do it again due to the weight of the steel that would need to be added.
Should we knock down the Auckland Harbour Bridge and start again?
