New Zealand's Bird of the Year needs your help.
As the chicks prepare to fledge for the year, the odds are stacked against them.
Mainland's 30 year partnership with the trust has worked to ensure the species' survival, but from warming waters to predators, the world's rarest bird the yellow-eyed Penguin isn't doing so great.
So just what can you do to help?
Last year Aziz Al Sa'afin came across one of three nests in the Okia Reserve, where he found a surviving egg.
Now a year later amazingly, he managed to find the same chick which is now ready to fledge and survive the outside world.
