Kiwi golfer Danny Lee's stock continues to rise after he was named one of the players who could give 21-year-old sensation Jordan Spieth a run for his money at this week's British Open.
The Irish Times labelled Lee the 'second hottest player on the planet' after following up a Greenbrier Classic title with a third-place finish at the John Deere Classic in Illinois, and, despite 150/1 odds, rate him a contender.
Lee was named alongside world No.5 Rickie Fowler, who won the Scottish Open at the weekend, world No.10 Sergio Garcia, 45th-ranked Shane Lowry and Tommy Fleetwood who is 47th in the world.
Lee, who will be making his British Open debut, has stormed up the rankings over the last few weeks and is currently ranked No.69.
Spieth has been blazing a trail this year having won the last two majors, and goes in as favourite to win at St Andrew's with Ireland's Rory McIlroy ruled out through injury.
The TAB are currently paying $101 for Lee to take out the major, while Spieth is paying $7.
