The White Ferns have arrived back in the country after their history-making tour which saw them pick up their first Twenty20 series win in India.

It was historic on a personal level too for Wellington duo Sophie Devine and Rachel Priest, who respectively scored the fastest and second fastest women's T20 half-centuries.

Devine hit a stunning 18-ball 50 to break the world record before Priest followed it up in the next match with a 22-ball effort.

"I don’t know what clicked, I wish I knew and I'd do it every match," Devine said.

"It was one of those innings where everything just comes off for you and hopefully there's a few more of those to come."

Priest then came close to beating her team-mate and fellow Wellingtonian’s record.

"I looked up at the scoreboard and I was on 48 off only 18 balls, and I realised I'd missed it!" Priest said.

"I don't really know what clicked either, there was a lot of luck involved, but mainly just being aggressive and going after the bowlers."

The White Ferns enjoy a short holiday, before returning to domestic cricket, with the next international series not until early 2016.
