Van Gisbergen is no stranger to Speedway, he's a regular at Western Springs, so the chance to let rip at Brisbane's Archerfield Speedway in a 900-horsepower sprint car was never going to be an offer he would turn down.
Currently running ninth in the championship, the V8 Supercar driver will join the Triple Eight team next year.
