The Springboks look set to be without their captain, Victor Matfield, for this weekend's clash with the All Blacks after he was injured in South Africa's second loss to the Wallabies.
The All Blacks haven't given any hints about their own personnel changes as they work towards Sunday morning's meeting at Ellis Park.
With Dan Carter back at home, Beauden Barrett could start in the number 10 jersey like he did last year when the All Blacks lost 27-25.
All Blacks coach Steve Hansen is keen to use all his players before the World Cup later this year, but only has this weekend's Test and two matches against the Wallabies to do so.
