Tana Umaga has had plenty on his plate recently – rebuilding the Blues franchise, coaching Counties in the ITM Cup and trying to spend as much time as possible with his family.
Counties still have a mathematical chance of making the ITM Cup semis, while his final Blues squad is due at the end of the month.
"When I'm with Counties I'm not thinking about Blues, and when I'm with the Blues I'm not thinking about Counties," Umaga says. "And when I'm home, I'm just 'dad' and doing what I have to do there."
The workload is tough, but he won't shirk any of it.
Umaga has been able to make major changes from Sir John Kirwan's old squad, and now has only a couple of positions to fill at the Blues.
With his top players signed, he's now trying to find the best balance.
And with a team to nurture and a legacy to rebuild, Umaga has plenty to chew over.
