New Zealand awoke a footballing giant as Brazil came from behind to beat the Football Ferns 5-1 in a dominant second half display.
Following their shock 1-0 win over Brazil, the Ferns absorbed the early pressure and ended up going into halftime with a 1-0 lead after Sarah Gregorius broke the deadlock in the friendly.
A long ball forward fortunately fell to Gregorius, who finished with a delicate volley when she lifted over the advancing Brazilian goalkeeper.
The Brazilians answered immediately after the restart when Poliana's excellent header from a Marta cross left a full-stretched Erin Nayler with no hope.
The hosts took the lead just before the hour mark, Erika heading home from a close range free-kick.
Three minutes later and Brazil put the match out of reach when Formiga's stunning strike made it 3-1.
Brazil captain Marta and Debora rounded out the scoring late as it finished 5-1.
