Opener Tom Latham has become the latest New Zealander to sign on for a stint in English county cricket after securing a deal with Kent.
The 23-year-old will play all formats for the county and is due to link up with them in April
"Playing county cricket has always been a goal of mine.
"I've heard great things about the playing group and coaching staff, so I can't wait to get started and help the boys push for some silverware," he said.
Kent coach Jimmy Adams said Latham, who is playing his 17th Test for his country as well as 38 ODIs and T20 internationals, will add a great deal to his side.
"He brings valuable experience gained from playing at the international level across all formats.
"We are confident that he will play a big role as the club pushes for County Championship promotion and white ball success," said Adams.
Latham is the 17th New Zealander to book a spot in county cricket in 2016.
