Ambidextrous bowling is the new switch-hitting for the youth of today.
Sri Lanka spinner Kamindu Mendis caught the eye of fans during an under-19 World Cup match against Pakistan when he bowled two deliveries with both arms in the same over.
The 17-year-old is making waves at the tournament with four wickets in three matches, including figures of 3/36 in a game against Afghanistan.
A naturally a left-hand orthodox Mendis switched it up when bowling against a left-handed batsman, bowling right arm off-spin.
"I practice with both arms but I bowled with both arms [in a match] for the first time in Under-17 against St Joseph's College two years ago," Mendis told cricinfo.com
