Three Kiwis are holding strong in the top 10 after the biggest and toughest day of eventing at the Badminton Horse Trials: the cross-country.
Sir Mark Todd is leading the pack but it was a near miss after the veteran rider was nearly thrown from his horse, Leonidas II.
He told Europe correspondent Tova O'Brien how he managed to cling on and finish the day in 4th place.
