Britain's Mark Cavendish secured a silver medal in the men's omnium, but he didn't get there without a bit of controversy.
The cyclist was involved in a mid-race crash where he appeared to take out leading rider Elia Viviani.
Cavendish stuffed Viviani when he charged straight across his front wheel, sending the Italian sprawling to the ground.
He was quick to apologise for his mistake, but replays showed Cavendish look over his shoulder at Viviani before turning down into him, which could yet yield a protest from rivals.
The Italian would get the last laugh, however, as he dusted himself off and held his composure to finish in the gold medal place.
Viviani, 27, went into the final race of the six-event competition at the Rio Olympics with the lead.
He finished on top with 207 points, Cavendish with 194 and Denmark's Norman Hansen was third with 192.
Kiwi Dylan Kennett finished eighth overall with 143 points.
