Fuelled by increased television exposure Mixed Martial Arts is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and for sisters Ashley, 10, Emma, 12, and Megan Nesbitt, 16, it's quickly becoming a way of life.
The sisters have just returned from Thailand after winning between them two gold medals, outstanding female athlete and the humanitarian award in Muay Thai kickboxing.
Muay Thai is one of six disciplines they take part in.
Their mother Fiona Nesbitt is proud of what her kids do and believes this is the right choice for her girls.
"The sport is helping grow amazing character in all of these kids," says Fiona.
The girls hope to continue the sports they love and turn trophies into professional belts.
