As a boxer with six professional fights under her belt, Baby "The Pitbull" Nansen is frustrated with established female fighters missing out on high profile New Zealand shows.
"To have people like Naz with big boobs and good looks representing the women - I think it's quite a disgrace to be honest ," said Nansen.
And according to the 29-year-old it's been a long time coming for female Kiwi boxers.
"Daniella Smith, Michelle Preston and so many beautiful amateur boxers as well that have worked very hard to get to where they are, and it's just not taken seriously."
Nansen fought for a regional WBC Silver Super Featherweight title this year which went largely under the radar, but with the popularity of female international fighters growing she expects change.
"I look up to all top women female fighters whether it be from MMA or Muay Thai - I do have a lot of respect for the women that work hard to get to where they are."
Nansen is set to face a familiar foe in Wendy Talbot.
They've already fought twice in Muay Thai, but her opponent's not the only one Nansen's targeting.
"Women can box better than men and I'm out there to get exposed, and I am hoping to get on shows like the Parker undercard."
A convincing win on Saturday will make her hard to ignore.
