French rugby powerhouse Toulon has announced that it's signed controversial Parramatta Eels' flyer Semi Radradra on the same day he had a warrant issued for his arrest.

Toulon confirmed the signing via their Twitter feed shortly after outspoken boss Mourad Boudjellal confirmed it to Fox Sports.

"He has signed with Toulon [for] one year, with a one year option," Boudjellal confirmed.

However Radradra's manager George Christodoulou has said that while Radradra – who had an arrest warrant issued for him after failing to appear in court to answer domestic violence charges – had received an offer, a deal had yet to be done.

"There is an offer on the table for the 2018 season with Toulon with an option for a second season in Semi's favour," Christodoulou said.

“No pre contract nor contract has been issued let alone executed so I don’t know why Toulon would be announcing his official signing at his stage.

“Ideally we were hoping to have his court hearing finalised today which would have subsequently enabled us to proceed with negotiating and finalising his playing future.”

While it's still unclear if or when Radradra will leave the Eels, he is contracted to the western Sydney side until 2017.
