American college basketballer Khy Kabellis scored one of the greatest three-pointers in the history of the game on Sunday [NZT].
The only problem? It counted for the opposing team.
Playing for North Dakota State against Denver, the guard managed to flip the ball into his own net while attempting to prevent the ball from going out of bounds, all with his back to the basket.
The result – three points for Denver, but probably a career-highlight shot for Kabellis.
The sophomore ended up with 17 points in his sides 81-63 win, but will no doubt be remembered for the contribution he made to the opposition.
