Great Britain has beaten Canada to go through to the Davis Cup quarter-finals after Denis Shapovalov was disqualified for hitting the umpire in the face with a tennis ball.
Deep in the third set against Briton Kyle Edmund, Shapovalov was frustrated at having his serve broken.
The 17-year-old then ejected the spare tennis ball from his pocket and launched it with his tennis racquet.
Definitely not finding the trajectory he wanted with the hit, Shapovalov sent the ball straight into the face of the umpire.
The incident led to the Shapovalov being disqualified and defaulting the decider, losing 6-3 6-4 2-1, meaning that Canada lost the tie 3-2.
Tennis laws are very clear that players must respect the crowd and the on-court officials at all times.
