Crusaders and All Blacks openside flanker Matt Todd's re-signed with New Zealand Rugby for one more year.
The 28-year-old has played eight Tests since his All Blacks debut in 2013 and has spent a lot of his career behind former captain Richie McCaw.
Todd produced a man of the match performance in the All Blacks world record-beating win over Australia at Eden Park in September last year.
Todd returns from a calf strain for tomorrow night's clash with the Force in Christchurch for what will be his 97th Super Rugby game for the Crusaders.
The flanker's new deal takes him through to the end of 2018, competing against Sam Cane and Ardie Savea for a place in the All Blacks leading into the 2019 World Cup.
