Nigel Owens will give his match jersey to a ball boy after the Welsh referee handed the youngster a yellow card for accidentally hitting him with a ball.
Owens, who's widely regarded as currently one of the best referees in the world, is no stranger to humourous on-field incidents, often engaging with players in a frank and comedic manner.
With six minutes to go in the match between Leinster and Scarlets, a ball boy flung the ball back into play which struck Owens on the back of the head.
Owens then turned to the ball boy and brandished a yellow card to the delight of the crowd.
As he approached the sideline, Owens and the ball boy shared a laugh and a smile before the ball boy gave a thumbs up to the crowd.
After the match, the 45-year-old commented on the incident, tweeting "Thanks all for your help. Have made contact with the ball boy and the jersey will be posted to him asap. Washed of course :) #rugbyfamily".
