Bronco Ben Hunt has earned a call-up to the Queensland bench for next week's State of Origin decider.
Hunt has beaten out Daly Cherry-Evans for the vacant halfback role, a void left by the season-ending injury to regular Johnathan Thurston.
Storm fullback Cameron Munster will also debut for the Maroons as part of the 17-strong squad announced by coach Kevin Walters on Monday.
Munster will also be in contention for a starting berth in the halves, or as a replacement for Darius Boyd in the centres, says Walters.
