Bulldogs NRL star Josh Reynolds has been in crisis talks with management after a boozy night out in Sydney.
The playmaker is accused of arguing with bar staff at a Cronulla nightspot after being asked to leave the venue on Friday night.
Reynolds had been in the club for only about 15 minutes when a female security manager approached him at the front bar and asked him to leave because he was too drunk, a man who saw the incident said.
"She asked him to leave, he started swearing and carrying on and saying 'You just want to f**k me,' " the unnamed witness told the Sydney Morning Herald.
"She asked him again and he was saying, 'Who the f**k are you?' Then a security guy went in and [Reynolds] told him the same. Then another guard had a go too."
Security was eventually called over before he was ushered out with the help of a team-mate.
"The women with the players had all walked off beforehand and they were all cursing on the way out of the door saying: 'He does this all the time,' " he said.
Aparently once outside, Reynolds allegedly tried to start a fight with another security guard. When one of his friends sided with the security guard, Reynolds called him "a dog".
Police have reviewed security video and Reynolds is expected to be fined, while the Bulldogs will conduct an investigation of their own.
"There have been allegations of an incident involving Josh Reynolds at the weekend. At this stage the club are investigating the details of these allegations.
"The club have informed the Integrity Unit and will be offering no more comment at this stage," said the club in a statement.
