Lydia Ko will return home this week with renewed confidence, after just missing out on claiming another major golf title in France.
Ko finished the Evian Championship in a share of third, after slipping up on the last hole.
The 20-year-old was clearly frustrated, but she is now excited to be coming back to New Zealand for the upcoming New Zealand Women's Open.
"I'm super stoked to be going to New Zealand. It's going be a long trip home but something that's worthwhile," said Ko.
The tournament will provide Ko the chance at winning her first tournament in 14 months.
