New Zealand has a little-known link to baseball's World Series with the Diamond Blacks manager Chris Woodward among the LA Dodgers coaching staff.
The 41-year-old Woodward is the third-base coach for the club, who are currently all square with the Houston Astros at 2-2 in the best-of-seven World Series.
The Dodgers are looking for their seventh World Series crown and there first since 1988.
Woodward spoke to the AM show about the World Series and the state of Baseball in New Zealand.
