Another strong performance by Kiwi Steven Adams hasn't been enough as the OKC Thunder lost their third consecutive match.
The centre top scored for the Thunder 23 points and pulled down 15 rebounds in the 114-110 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday (NZ time).
The 24-year-old scored his 3000th career point in the match at Chesapeake Arena to become only the third Thunder player with at least 3000 career points and 350 career blocks.
New Orleans all-star Anthony David scored a game-high 43 points in the win.
The Thunder held a 58-54 lead at the break, but things went downhill in the second half as the Pelicans raced away with the win, outscoring the home side by 60-42 in the final 24 minutes.
Oklahoma remains fifth in the Western Conference with a 30-23 record.
The Thunder face the Los Angeles Lakers in their next clash on Monday morning (NZ time).
