The Black Ferns Sevens have recorded their second major win in a week, after overcoming France 24-12 in the final of the World Series in Japan.
The hearty performance in the final came after a stunning effort a week prior against Australia on the Gold Coast, which secured them gold at the Commonwealth Games.
Despite a try in the opening minute of the game by New Zealand, France soon equalised - but Theresa Fitzpatrick scored the Black Ferns' second just before half-time.
France came back to draw level once more, before Portia Woodman once again showed off her quality with a barnstorming run down the wing to put the Black Ferns Sevens back in the lead.
Tyla Nathan-Wong secured the win with one last incredible run and try.
Earlier, New Zealand proved too strong for Australia in the semi-final, winning 17-12.
Recording the exact same scoreline as the Commonwealth Games final a week earlier, the Black Ferns Sevens fought back from 12-0 down to book a place in the final.
New Zealand also beat China 50-0 in their quarter-final on the way to finishing in top spot.
