BBC apologises after Nick Kyrgios' simulates lewd sex act in live broadcast

Aussie tennis bad boy Nick Krygios' latest act of courtside profanity has prompted an awkward apology from the BBC.

Cameras at the Queens Club Championships were caught off-guard when the 23-year-old was captured simulating a sex act with his water bottle during a live broadcast, forcing them to issue an on-air apology to viewers.

He finished with a spray of water before sharing a grin with someone in his players box.

It's the second time at the tournament that Kyrgios' antics have landed the UK's public broadcaster in strife after he unleashed a tirade of "f**ks" during his match against Kyle Edmund earlier in the week.

When questioned post-match on the incident, Kyrgios was predictably remorseless.

"I got a bit tight towards the end of the match, which is normal. Do you swear?" he fired back at media.

He went on to lose his semi-final tie with Cilic in straight sets, 7-6 7-6.
