OPINION: The first round of the FIFA World Cup has flown by with a few surprises, shocks and an instant classic between Portugal and Spain.
We already have one team in the second round with the Russians topping Egypt 3-1 on Wednesday morning.
So who's been most impressive?
Here is my Power Rankings after day six of action.
1.Mexico
So impressive in stifling the world champions Germany. Were every bit worth the 1-0 scoreline and could have won by more.
2.Iceland
So how do you welcome yourself on to the World Cup stage for the first time? Shut down Argentina and the great Lionel Messi.
3.Spain
Had the measure of the European champions Portugal in the best game of the tournament so far. Ronaldo will be haunting David De Gea's dreams for months.
4.Portugal
Great going forward, poor at the back. Cristiano Ronaldo is good enough to get them to a quarter-final by himself pretty much.
5.Belgium
Not great opposition, but they avoided a potential banana skin ala Germany. Hazard, Du Bruyne and Lukaku will be a handful for defenders.
6.Russia
Okay so I know they have been impressive on the scoreboard but I'm just not convinced. Have arguably beaten the two worst teams at the tournament. If they can put away Uruguay then they get more love.
7.Croatia
Clinical in disposing a dangerous Nigerian side. Have one of the most potent midfields at the World Cup.
8.Senegal
Wow. They can play. Poland are very good but the African side dominated large periods of the match and deserved their 2-1 win.
9.France
Struggled to put a way a very gutsy Australian side. France will get better, too much class on display and did avoid dropping points.
10.Switzerland
Deserved that point against Brazil. Interesting group games to come against Serbia and Costa Rica but the Swizz showed class against the South American giants.
