Steven Adams has taken time off from his busy (online) gaming schedule to teach a couple of professional South Korean players a lesson in basketball.
The Kiwi NBA star has been holidaying in the Asian country, doing all the standard touristy things there is to do, such as sight-seeing and playing popular game Battlegrounds with his new friends.
When he's not being handed heavy defeats on the joystick, he finds time for payback on the court, as he showed against Korean Basketball League club Seoul Samsung Thunders.
Adams put on a clinic in his one-on-one pickup games at the team's facility, showcasing footwork and shots his Oklahoma City Thunder teammate, Russell Westbrook, would be proud of.
The skill and size disparity were there for all to see, as Adams made short work of the two players and often seemed like a dad asserting dominance over his sons.
Adams would soften the blow afterwards, revealing that he's beaten Westbrook in similar fashion and that he was impressed with what he's experienced.
"I won last year, I won all the games three-two - he won two, I won three of them," he told Rookie The Basket. "I made two threes against him.
"Amazing facility and the athletes here work really hard, but the culture here is really good, so many sports working here together, just creates a good culture."
It's Adams' first time in Korea and he's already built quite a following, with fans nicknaming the Kiwi 'IU's friend', in reference to his stark contrast in appearance with popular local singer of the same age, IU.
Adams had been made aware of the strange comparison and said he would follow her on Instagram.
"She's hot."I will, hopefully she shouts me out."
